Introducing....
Jiblets Kitty Pie
We have a new addition to the family! So far he has been hiding out in the second bedroom closet, cuddling up with the tail from my kitty-cat Halloween costume. We have kept the bedroom door closed, but Simba knows something is up and has been smelling at and scratching the door. Jiblets is about seven months old and very shy. We know he likes other cats because he has been living with some at his foster home and when we saw him at the Petco today, he was letting another cat bathe him. He was fostered with "Second Chance Pet Adoption." Jiblets's foster mom was there and she was sad to see him go, but happy, of course, that he has a new family.
In case you are wondering, we came up with the name before we had the cat. Those of you in Chicago probably know Dan Jiggetts, who does the sportscenter-like show on Comcast Sportsnet. The other day Prince E said that he likes to call him Dan Jiblets, for no apparent reason. Later we agreed that would be a nice name for a kitty, even if "giblets" does mean bird guts. The "kitty pie" part of his name is like "cutie pie."
I will post more pictures, in the event that little Jiblets ever comes out to play.

I hope he likes the Chicago Bears and gets used to us yelling and screaming at the tv when the Bears are playing.
